Happy Friday to you all. Are you all gearing up for the weekend? Knock out a new DIY project, I promise it'll make you feel better once you complete it. Here's a neat little DIY that I came across while searching the net. It's a Spare Toilet Paper Holder designed by Tracys Treasury.
I just bought this new shower curtain and fabric for the bathroom. I really think this can be a nice addition. Visit my "DIY Projects" section, I have a direct link to Tracy Treasury's website. Let me know if you attempt to make this. Have a great weekend guys, I'm in the process of moving but if I find another project, I'll make sure to post it
Happy Sunday to you all. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I don't know where everyone is from but here in Baltimore it's cold and rainy today. Perfect sleeping or brainstorming weather.
Me being the person I am, I'm always looking for new projects and ideas. I was browsing the internet and found these really cool stone coasters. I'm thinking about adding them to my Etsy shop. What do you think? Would you buy them? Once I make my version of these, I'll be sure to post them
Happy Sunday :)
It's the weekend guys..so what DIY projects do you have scheduled? I received an order for a River Rock Mat. Its a very time consuming project because you're gluing individual rocks to a mat but the outcome is beautiful. I have attached pictures below but if you're interested in just buying one please visit my ETSY shop to place an order. There's a tab at the top of this page that will take you directly there..
Happy Friday & if you think it you can make it. :)
P.S. I initially tried to use a hot glue gun..save yourself the trouble..I fully recommend E6000. If you want a glossy look then spray Mod Podge on the rocks. Remember any kind of rocks can be used
I want to first give credit where credit is truly do. I came across this blogger named Iffy Scraps
On her page is a DIY project. She made a curtain rod out of PVC Pipe. The total project cost was $15. Check out these pictures. I don't know about you but I'm truly impressed and I think this is a project I just may have to attempt
So i recently decided to get into the wonderful world of sewing. One thing that I will admit is that it's a pretty scary world. However, learning how to sew I felt would open up more things for me to create outside of a glue gun. So last week, I went bravely to the store and bought a beginners machine. I bought the Brothers LX2500. Looks real legit right?
I will be the first to admit. When I got the machine home, I had NO IDEA what to do next. One thing that I like about this machine was that the directions were really easy to follow. I also logged onto YOUTUBE and looked at a few videos as well. Next thing I knew I was all threaded up and ready to go.
I next went to Wal-Mart to buy some very inexpensive yet super cute fabric.
I was determined to make pillow cases for my throw pillows. I watched a billion YOUTUBE videos and looked at a dozen DIY sites and looky what I made
They aren't 100% perfect, but they do look really good. I am very proud of myself **pats self on back**
